Release notes 26.1.4

· 2 min read

Dataedo 26.1.4 improves and resolves bugs in Portal and Connectors. Bigger changes concern modifications to Semantic Type detection, force browser cache refresh upon adding new users, and streamlining the behavior of the "Run Immediately" function for bulk Metadata Imports.

Portal:

  • Fixed the bug preventing deleting data sources when their classification was run via import
  • Modified rules governing the assignment of a Given Name, Full name and Family name semantic types in Data Classification; if the Types were assigned in error earlier that should be fixed when re-running Classification after updating Dataedo to 26.1.4
  • Resolved an issue where Users could not add new Windows Authentication credentials if another Windows credential to which they did not have access already existed
  • Ensured proper setting of the "Run Immediately" flag behavior when bulk adding import tasks
  • Forced browser cache refresh after adding new users
  • Fixed an issue where Role and Warehouse fields in Snowflake and Databricks connector settings were cleared after entering edit mode if the saved credential was inactive or invalid
  • UX/UI changes:
    • Interface Tables icon fixed

Connectors:

  • Bugfixes:
    • AzureSQL – Fixed "Conversion overflows" error during classification when processing decimal columns in Azure SQL
    • Oracle - Fixed the conversion of certain column types
    • MySQL - Fix for counting filtered objects during import editing
  • Added a workaround for a Power BI SDK issue where Workspace Scanner responses may result in deserialization. Now the error is properly added to the stack trace, and Metadata import continues using an ADOMD fallback import to ensure synchronization continues without interruption.
