· 2 min read

Dataedo 26.1.3 improves and resolves bugs in Portal and Connectors. Highlights include UX and UI improvements, and improved Data Classification procedures. This release also improves the Power BI, MongoDB, Salesforce, and Athena connectors.

Portal:

  • Fixed issues that prevented deleting some Data Sources and Connections which had Data Quality rule instances run previously.

  • Manual [data objects] are now excluded from automatic Data Classification, preventing errors tied to querying tabs which do not exist in the source database

  • Decimal values in AI configuration are now accepted with both the comma and the period notation

  • Restored the Unauthorized access notification displayed when a User has no access permissions despite successful authentication

  • UI/UX fixes:

    • Fixed the behavior of inflow buttons in Data Lineage diagrams
    • Renamed the Profiled column of Data Profiling widget to Profiled in last 30 days, to accurately describe the info reported in the widget
    • In scheduler, added menu buttons to Data Classification tasks ending with an error or a warning

Connectors:

  • Bugfixes:
    • Athena – Resolved an issue where special characters in table names could cause errors for Data Profiling

    • MongoDB - Resolved issues with counting objects during the database connection

    • Power BI - Resolved issues with some tables' metadata not being properly imported during multi-source Metadata Imports, upgraded the Power BI SDK to the latest version.

  • Added support for External Client Apps in Salesforce authentication
