Supported metadata​

Dataedo reads the following metadata from Elasticsearch instances:

  • Search indices (documents)
    • Fields (including nested objects)
      • Name
      • Data type

Data profiling​

Dataedo does not support data profiling in the database.

Permissions​

The user documenting Elasticsearch must have view_index_metadata or manage index privileges for Dataedo to connect and get the metadata.
