Run Data Quality
In order for your scheduled tasks to run you have to set up Dataedo Agent first.
Data Quality runs through the Dataedo scheduler, and you can find detailed setup instructions on the linked page.
It is a standalone task you can manage, similar to scheduling imports or profiling. The key difference is that you can schedule rule instance checks based on their severity. This allows you to prioritize higher-severity instances, while the lower-severity ones can be scheduled separately to run less often. In order to view your scheduled checks, locate your data source in Connectors > Schedule and expand it. Scheduled Data Quality tasks are visible in the "Data Quality" section.

Within the Data Quality section you can schedule new tasks and edit already existing ones. Data Quality tasks let you specify the frequency and execution times of your task, as well as which rules (grouped by severity) it should apply to. You can schedule as many tasks as necessary for the purposes of your organization.

Notifications
There are two types of notifications you can receive regarding your Data Quality tasks. The notifications can be forwarded to you via e-mail or directly in Portal. In order to be notified, make sure you are following the Parent Object or the task itself. Tasks can be followed either in the object view using the bell icon, or directly in the scheduler.

The first type of notification you can receive is a Data Quality Rule Failure. This type of notification can be received by any User who follows the object. These notifications are triggered when rule instances do not meet expected conditions or contain errors at the rule definition level. This notification means that you should inspect both your Rule Instance and the table you applied it to and fix the issue to prevent working with faulty data.
The second type of notification is a Data Quality Task Failure. Since it is tied directly to the Scheduler it can be received only by Connection Managers. It simply means that your scheduled Data Quality check did not run.
