Data Sources in Dataedo Desktop

We are currently working on making all metadata connectors available both in Desktop and Portal. Portal however, contains a set of improvements towards the import process, including the scheduler where you can set automatic, periodical refreshes to your Metadata even during initial import. Therefore we strongly suggest using Portal for imports when possible.
You can conveniently add, document and view your connected Data Sources through the Dataedo Catalog using Dataedo Desktop. Some actions, most notably adding manual databases, and bulk metadata editions are currently exclusive to Desktop as well.
