Ignoring objects from import

You often don't want to document all the objects in your database. Some of them are irrelevant - temporary, backup, or obsolete tables, for instance.

Dataedo lets you exclude such objects from imports with the ignored objects list functionality.

You can add objects to the ignored list in two ways:

1. Uncheck specific objects while importing schema
2. Remove objects that were imported from documentation

Objects from that list will be ignored in future schema updates.

Each documentation has its own list.
