Configure Open in Dataedo Portal

Dataedo Desktop has a useful Open in Dataedo Portal feature that allows easy navigation from Dataedo Desktop to Dataedo Portal. This article explains the required configuration.

The feature can be enabled simply by providing the URL under which your users are accessing the Dataedo Portal.

You can do this in Dataedo Portal by expanding the Settings in the navigation bar, then choosing System Settings. After that, in the Basic tab, edit the Dataedo Portal URL and click Save:

It can also be done in Dataedo Desktop with by going into the Settings tab, clicking the Global Settings button. In the new window, modify the value for Dataedo Portal URL and click Save:
